Reflection:

I love giving students agency! Through the eBook process I was able to use what I had learned in the Technology Course at Brock University, to explore and create a final product of choice. Specifically, I was able to link together my love for 1990's hit sitcoms and technology to create an online product that represents technological content knowledge. I decided to create a Slide Rocket presentation on the television show Saved By The Bell. In my own future classroom, it would be a fantastic idea to complete a text to self activity using comparable technological resources. This would demonstrate to my students that I value technology in the classroom, as well as their own thoughts, feelings, and real life experiences related to a topic of choice. I truly believe this represents TPACK, as students are able to make higher level connections, while using technology, as modeled by the teacher.
